This year, the second prize went to AiMESS Services and their project partner \u201cfaktor m\u201d, a product design company from Magdeburg\/Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The jury justified the decision with the successful approach to embed the very complex technology of the 3D infrared scanner R3Dscan in a clear, precise and intelligible design.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted that we have secured a podium position in this tough competition,\u201d said Hendrik Richter, president of AiMESS. \u201cAiMESS has won several innovation prizes for the R3Dscan in the last few months. Receiving a design award from such an expert jury is the ultimate accolade.
