With more than 24,000 visitors, the Control is the most important trade show for quality assurance world-wide. On a spacious stand of more than 100 m\u00b2, we informed about our versatile measurement services with portable 3D measurement systems. Of special interest was our brand new infrared scanner R3Dscan that digitizes transparent, dark and reflecting surfaces without prior spraying or placing of markers. Thus, the patented system developed by AiMESS differs dramatically from fringe projection systems that are usually applied in the industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cPublic interest was overwhelming,\u201d says Dr. Ernst Wiedenmann, Director of Research & Development at AiMESS, who has participated in the development of the R3Dscan. \u201cMany of our visitors have to deal with complex measurement tasks every day. In other words, they are true specialists in their activity fields. They unanimously confirmed that our new measurement method is a technological quantum leap for industrial metrology, and this feedback makes us very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, not only the R3Dscan proved to be a visitor magnet. Experts from well-known multinationals and SMEs also used the show to gather information about the application of our artifacts for stationary and portable measuring systems and the new artifact software tetronom Analyzer 3.<\/p>\n
